Casa TAZ is a custom 6,500 sq. ft. oceanfront Mediterranean home tucked away at the foot of the Baja Peninsula between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. This luxury villa has 5 master suites, gourmet kitchen, and state-of-the-art media room complete with an extensive movie library, pool, Jacuzzi, and 2,800 sq. ft. of additional terrace space to enjoy. Every room looks out onto the Sea of Cortez 15 miles down the beach to Punta Gorda, one of the loveliest views in Cabo, and a private white-sand beach is only steps away. House maximum occupancy: 10 guests.

Color and comfort are the words that describe this spacious gathering place with cathedral ceilings, festive Mexican furnishings, artwork, and rugs. Enjoy a margarita fresh from the Mexican-tiled bar, play cards at the copper and leather game table, or gather on the sofas with friends around a platter of guacamole and chips in the afternoon. A fireplace and chimney grace a two-story blue-washed wall, and the azure beauty of the Sea of Cortez beckons your party through glass doors to comfortable wicker furniture on the spacious main terrace.

Our TV, home theater and music room combination offers a full media experience. We begin with a 60" Sony DLP monitor with high definition programming from Dish. Our home theater is a 5.1 system and includes a full library of DVDs (more than 100 titles) for your viewing enjoyment. Two CD players (including a 300 CD carousel changer), iPod connector and satellite music channels offer a full range of music listening experience. Our entertainment center is the source of music for 7 total stereo zones, each separately controlled, inside and outside Casa TAZ.

Our spacious dining room features a solid mesquite table, beautiful handcrafted chandelier and seating for up to 10. Views of the ocean and Baja coastline abound. The rhythms of salsa from the in-house stereo system create a perfect dining ambience.

Casa TAZ features a unique and spacious kitchen, decorated in a yellow tile and pine motif. Included is a large tile island with bar stools, a 6-burner propane cook top, Northland™ stainless-steel refrigerator, oven and microwave. Two prep stations/sinks provide for many hands to prepare the 'comida'. A large curved glass window gives those in the kitchen a sweeping view of the ocean and coastline. Outside you will find a stainless-steel Wolf™ barbecue and multicolored tile barbecue area with a sink and prep station next to a blue tile 3-stool bar. Adjacent to the bar is a travertine dining table for up to 10 guests, again with sweeping views of the ocean and coastline.

Experience the thrill of competition or the satisfaction of relaxation. Our luxury villa offers an 8-foot outdoor pool table, ping-pong and air hockey tables, along with two colorful cloth hammocks and hammock chairs set beneath an open-air, thatch-roofed cabana. Enjoy the peaceful surrounding gardens, Mexican fiesta-style light ornaments, and breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez and Baja Coastline.

Joya del Mar - One King bed
The Sea of Cortez is your constant companion in this beautifully appointed bedroom on the main floor. Your gracious king-size, Spanish-style bed or the two traditional Mexican leather lounges become favorite retreats to read a few pages of your current book before you fall asleep in the afternoons. Your blue and yellow talavera-tiled bath looking out onto the front garden is a great wakeup in the mornings or a relaxing last call before bed.

Arbol de Vida - One King bed
Your last view at night and first view in the morning is of a lively Tree of Life mural hand-painted by a local artisan, which embellishes the grand domed ceiling of this delightful bedroom. Enjoy a much-needed restful night's sleep in your custom alder and iron king-size bed. Watch the whales play from your flower-tiled shower through a floor-to-ceiling window that looks out to sea. Enjoy your breakfast on your own private terrace or make the cushy rattan chairs and matching ottomans your hiding place for afternoon naps.

Espiritu de Paz - One King bed
Sweet Cabo dreams await you in the king bed with traditional hand-carved hardwood headboard. Two charming Mexican tin lamps adorn the gaily painted nightstands on either side. Rejuvenate your body in your talavera-tiled shower while gazing 20 miles down the coast of the magnificent Sea of Cortez. Catch some rays on the sun terrace or let your spirit be restored by the cool breeze rustling through the palms over your private terrace.

Palma de Coco - One Queen and one Double bed
The sun-splashed Caribbean colors of this room provide a warm welcome to your days in paradise. One queen and one double rattan beds are perfect for the needs of diverse groups—great for the kids, a couple of fishermen, or a retreat for a couple. Treat yourself to a Jacuzzi soak with your favorite magazine or pile the kids in the tub with their rubber duckies. Be sure to spend some private time in the Mexican leather chairs on the sun-dappled terrace where the birds welcome the morning.

Casita del Jardín - One King or two Twin beds
With the flexibility of two twin beds or a king, this is the perfect attached apartment for teenagers or anyone who would like to have their own separate space. The gaily decorated living area and kitchenette look out to a private exercise terrace complete with elliptical trainer, rowing machine, and exercise mats. Watch your favorite TV shows on the 32-inch outdoor LCD screen while you exercise, or plug in a DVD and cozy up on the sofa for an evening of movie entertainment under the stars. Bring on the popcorn.

Relax by the 40 ft. infinity edge pool with that perfect book and a tasty margarita. Soak away in the jet-powered Jacuzzi as the 10-speaker outdoor sound system serenades you with your favorite song (5 separately controlled stereo zones). Roast marshmallows or simply cozy up around the outdoor gas fire pit. Pool toys, chaise lounges, and umbrellas complement the stunning views of the Sea of Cortez and Baja coastline while the towering palm trees and lush foliage provide that ever-elusive privacy you deserve.

This villa is all about its connection with the sea. From the palm-graced entrance when you arrive to the sun-drenched main terrace surrounding the dramatic 40-foot infinity pool, the magnificent Sea of Cortez and the azure Cabo sky are your backdrops. The music of the water from the stone fish that fill the pool and the fountain in the entry courtyard enhance your days and comfort you as you sink into your pillow at the end of a rejuvenating day at Casa TAZ. The lush grounds are fragrant with tropical flowers, and the birds make their homes in the many palms that whisper promises of your days to come in the Cabo sun.

Enjoy your own private white sand beach set on the majestic Sea of Cortez. Less than 100 yards below Casa TAZ and with direct access via staircase, the beach is protected on both sides and provides the ideal venue to enjoy the abundant sun and serenity of Los Cabos. Fish, snorkel, or swim right off the beach. Casa TAZ is located 1 mile down the beach from the One and Only Palmilla Resort.
